Built by Oceanwalker, this 60-foot power catamaran combines comfortable and flexible living spaces with a true focus on efficiency and reducing environmental impact — without sacrificing the comfort expected from a yacht of this size.

Electric propulsion and power supply system
The Oceanwalker 60 Eco is built around a hybrid-electric propulsion system designed for silent operation and real range flexibility, not just for short-distance electric cruising.
Propulsion
- 2 x 150 kW electric motors
- 2 x 45 kW range extender generators (redundancy and simplified system design, rather than relying on a single large generator set)
- 286 kWh LFP battery bank
Solar
- 10 kW of solar panels on the hardtop, contributing an average of 60 kWh per day to the battery bank
Efficiency
- Cruising at 7 knots, the boat consumes about 20 kWh per hour
- On battery power alone (house loads, without solar or generator contribution), the 286 kWh bank provides approximately 12 hours of autonomy
- The HVAC system has been upgraded to Thermodynamics, reducing electrical consumption by approximately 35% compared to the standard system. The HVAC power is drawn directly from the 600V HV bus, so there is no conversion loss from HVDC to AC.
Together, the solar contribution and the two range extender generators give the S60e significantly greater flexibility than a pure battery-powered yacht, while keeping daily cruising silent and low-consumption.
